It had been just about 2 months since the Chicago Takeover, something Kasey felt like had taken more like a year to pass by. None of the bonded had been happy to be detained by the government during that time, especially when the fate of humans rested in, well, the human's hands. Kasey had watched the shuttle that carried the Autobots towards space burst into little pieces, thanks to a Decepticon. Kasey had fallen to her knees, sobbing at the sight of the pieces falling to the ground. Their last hope against the Decepticons was now nothing but a bunch of burned remains, smoldering in a field. Those at the base had stared in disbelief, but they recovered more quickly than the Bonded. After that, all the bonded, aside from Sam, were ushered away by the goverment to be detained and questioned. Did they know what the hell the Decepticons were up to? "To enslave us all." Had been Kasey's few words to them before she had refused to answer anything else. They had been allowed to watch the news, especially when the word spread that Decepticons had taken over Chicago and were all over the world. How the human race had won against the Decepticons was a miracle.
News soon came that Sam had been in the city and had helped the military corrdinate an attack against the Decepticons, all the while looking for his girlfriend, Carly. After Chicago had been taken back, they had all been released. After that, Kasey had thrown herself into her work and never looked back. At least, she told herself that. Almost everyday she had thought about Leadfoot and the other Autobots, missing them terribly. Was it weird to say that she had missed them? An alien race that had invaded Earth years ago had become her friends. It had come as a suprise to her when she had 'bonded' with Leadfoot, one of the Wreckers. Leadfoot had never explained what being bonded meant, but it wasn't hard to see what it was all about. They were protected and cared for my the Autobots in times of need, especially when Decepticons were around. Now, the Autobots were gone and Kasey had never felt more unsafe. There could be more Decepticons lurking around somewhere, and they were all just sitting ducks. The Autobots being gone was the worst thing that could ever happen.
On second thought, being kidnapped by a Decepticon was the worst thing that could happen. One minute, Kasey was getting ready to walk out of the hotel she was staying at to get back to work, when a Decepticon pretty much landed right in front of her. She had tried to run, but it had snatched her up before she could get but a few feet. Kasey had yelled and threatened it, but the Decepticon could care less, simply telling her to shut her trap before he shut it for her. That had made her go quiet, but she didn't stop trying to think of a way to get away. It was no use though; she was merely human and the large, advanced being was much bigger than her. All she could do was wait and see what they were planning on doing. Surely they were going to kill her, right? They had no reason to keep her alive, especially since the Autobots were no longer around. Maybe some ransom? But what would they want in exchange for her? She wasn't worth much, the government could care less about one human. You know that saying: Sacrifice of a few to save many. Or something like that.
Something was shaking her violently, and Kasey's eyes snapped open, crying out as she was suddenly released from a grip and fell a few feet onto the ground below. She tried to land on her feet, but she didn't completely manage it, only doing so for a couple seconds before falling backwards onto her ass. The asphalt was hot and she hissed as her palms hit the rough surface, pulling them up quickly as she sat up. All she could see was buildings and rubble here and there. Blinking, Kasey realized she was back in the States, in Chicago. Something exploded to her left, but when she looked, she didn't see anything, only a cloud of dust just behind some of the buildings. People were yelling and screaming, but Kasey couldn't make out what they were saying. A jet soared overhead, heading for where the blast had come from, and seconds later, she heard more explosions. What were the Decepticons up to? The thought had no sooner formed than when she looked up and caught sight of someone standing at the end of the street.
She was tall and blonde, and Kasey could somewhat make out the expression on her face; it was confusion. Kasey couldn't react as the blonde started to head for her, at a jog. Kasey glanced up, only to see the Decepticon had left. As she turned back to look at Lilanna, the blonde was closer. "Kasey? How'd you get here? Are you here to help clean up? Oh, Leadfoot is going to be so happy to see you." The blonde immediately blabbed, reaching down to help Kasey to her feet. "The....the Autobots are still alive? Leadfoot is?" The blonde nodded, glancing towards the dust from the explosions, "They're over there, I think. I wonder what happened. C'mon, you'll get to see everyone." Lil grabbed her arm, but Kasey refused to budge. "Lil...you need to run. Get to the Autobots, now." The blonde seemed confused, but before she could respond, the ground shook as a Decepticon landed a few feet away, blocking their exit. "I don't think you'll be running to anyone." Kasey pulled Lil behind her, forcing the younger woman backwards as Kasey backed up. This wasn't good.
Kasey's Outfit. Lilanna's Outfit.

Nicholas Wolfe was annoyed. Another early morning in the life of a NEST soldier, but this time they traveled. Nick didn't mind the traveling, but today was supposed to be his day off, but nooo. They called him in cause they were short on hands to help the Autobots and Bonded in Chicago. He had grumbled, but finally agreed. His day off wasn't the important, he guessed. Now, however, he was grumbling again. He could be sleeping in until afternoon, sprawl around his apartment in his boxers and play video games. Okay, that wasn't an every time thing when he had a day off, but it was nice to do so. Nicholas enjoyed his sleep, even if he only managed to get a few hours at times. Good thing he had went to bed sort of early last night and hadn't decided to pull an all nighter playing video games and watching movies. He would have been fucking miserable today. The chopper ride to Chicago had thankfully not taken as long as he thought it would; at least he had some soldiers to speak to, although not many he was close to. If Jake had been here, he would have talked to him, but the man was overseas somewhere, doing whatever for the NEST.
As soon as they arrived in Chicago, the other volunteers and workers wasted no time in setting them all to work. Some of the soldiers helped the Autobots, while a few patrolled around. It was simply precaution, since they knew Decepticons weren't completely off the face of the Earth. Nick scrowled slightly at the sight of some local Media vans, as well as people with cameras and videocameras. They were doing whatever they could to get a glimpse of the Autobots and the Bonded. It was no secret that the Autobots were alive and still on Earth. Shit was gonna hit the fan, that was for sure, and it was gonna be soon. Hopefully the Bonded were prepared to deal with all of it, especially since they had once thought the Autobots were gone forever. However, they had dealt with the media once, so they would be better prepared this time for whatever the Media threw at them. Sighing, Nick turned his back to most of what was going on and headed towards where some of the Autobots were gathered, picking up large chunks of rumble to move.
The sound of an airplane flying overhead made Nick glance up, raising a hand to shield his eyes from the sun. He barely caught a glimpse of it before an explosion filled the air, followed by yelling and screaming. "Decepticon!" He barely caught the Italian Autobots' words before another explosion blasted. Nick took off, running towards the cluster of Autobots up ahead. They were yelling, but he could hear Optimus above it all, although Nick didn't pay attention to what they were saying, not until he saw they were keeping the Bonded close. He counted them quickly as he moved, frowning as he was missing count on one. The damn model. Where had she gone off to? Looking in stores? Nick headed down a nearby street, glancing back and forth down streets. Nick ended up doing a double take and backing up when he saw Kasey and Lil. Kasey? What was she doing here? As he caught a glance of them, he caught full fight of the large Decepticon blocking their path to him. Kasey stared at him a moment too long, and the Decepticon turned to glance down at him.
Nick fired off several shots at its face, "Decepticon!" Nick dived away as a blast from one of the Decepticon's cannons tore into where he had been standing seconds ago. Nick rolled several times and scrambled to his feet, raising his gun to shoot at the large robot again. When it flinched as he caught it right in the face, he pressed the button on his communicator, "Decepticon to your left, three streets down. Kasey and Lilanna are trapped. Need assistance now!" Another explosion blasted to his left and Nick was thrown off his feet and back to the ground, rather hard. He grunted and struggled back to his feet, only to dive behind some rumble as the Decepticon shot at him again. He caught a glimpse of Kasey and Lil turning and running down the street before another blast blindsided him.

Violetta couldn't explain how she was feeling. It was partly because she didn't know. For the past two months, she had been under the impression that the most important being in her life was dead. That being wasn't a member of her family, or even a human friend. He was an Autobot. Maybe her family would have mattered more to her, and she did love them still, if they were more supportive of her and the side she was fighting on. She just hated how narrow minded they were being about this whole thing. Time and time again the Autobots had proved that they were allies. They had proved that they were protectors. She couldn't understand how anyone could be against them, especially her own family. In fact it was her friendship with the Autobots, and her love of one in particular, that had put her with odds with her family. The fact that so little could turn them against her was a pretty clear sign of who she should put first. The fact that even after her parents had given her an ultimatum, and she had still chosen the Autobots, just made everything worse. Still, Vi had made her choice, and she wasn't the type to go back on life altering decisions. Not to mention, she was much too stubborn to let someone else change her mind for her; no matter how hard her brother tried. Even when she had been certain that the Autobots were dead, she hadn't tried to make amends with her family. She would never agree with their outlook, and she would always be a "Bot Lover". It had been easier for her to grieve away from her family, and she had been pretty solitary for the past two months. Occasionally she could go out with a casual friend, but since the Autobots were gone, the bonded had disbanded, and no one understood the emptiness she was dealing with. From the time she had met Roadbuster, she had spent every day with him until the day she had lost him. She had never been any good at making real friends, so he meant a lot to her. To her he was much more than some talking robot. Now she had recently learned that the Autobots were alive after all. She felt like an idiot over the way she had been grieving, and the way she had acted upon seeing him again.
Vi had agreed to help clean up Chicago with the Autobots and the rest of the bonded. This was mostly because there was no reason for her to return home, and partly because she would rather know for a fact that Roadbuster was safe than wonder, and occasionally hear word. Plus, she was sure they could use an extra pair of hands. Vi was pretty good at these sort of things too. She was no construction worker, but she knew how to work a hammer and a drill. She was also mediocre with vehicle repair, and she was an elite member of the duct-tape task force. If you can't duct it, fuck it. The problem was she hadn't been sure where to start when they had arrived at Chicago. Clean up and repair crews had already began working on the city, but the devastation was more than a couple of month's work could do. Vi, worried that she would annoy Roadbuster if she stayed too close, wandered off to figure out where she would be needed the most. It wasn't long before she stumbled upon one of the many shelters on the outskirts of the city. Deciding that it would be a good place to start, she had entered the building, and was surprised by the number of people inside. Compared to everything that needed doing, helping at a shelter was very minor, but Vi could stay as long as she was needed. She could help anywhere she had to, and right now the shelter was running low on hands to serve, and full of people that needed to be served. She quickly got to work there. While she was working, she overheard many different conversations, but most were focused on the same thing; The Autobots. She was glad that it seemed like some people appreciated them, but she also heard many who didn't. She managed to bite her tongue during this, surprisingly, and she didn't speak to any of the ungrateful people that spoke negatively about the Autobots, but she had no problems with sparking a few conversations here and there with the ones on their side. Before leaving, Vi helped stitch together a stuffed doll for a young girl, and she was glad that she could make the girl smile. It was the least she could do, considering everything the girl had surely lost.
Leaving the shelter to find where she was needed next, Vi hadn't gotten but a block away when the ground started shaking beneath her feet. Her initial thought was that it might be an earthquake, but the yelling and new debris proved that it wasn't the case. Vi wasted no time springing into action. Running back to the shelter, she told them all to get into a basement, or at least some kind of cover. Once they were warned she ran back out, looking for anyone that needed help. A mechanical whirling noise made her turn her head. She'd assumed it was an Autobot, but she was wrong. The Decepticon hadn't seen her, so she kept running. Breaking into a sprint, another explosion shook the ground, but this one was only a block away. Turning a corner, Vi had to stop moving because of the way the ground was shaking. She was certain that it was going to give way under her feet. A few blocks ahead of her, another Decepticon landed. She knew that her luck was bound to run out soon, so she jumped back into a sprint, and headed toward the last explosion site. Hot metal and debris from the wrecked building was scattered in her path, but the blonde didn't slow down. A loud noise from behind her made her look over her shoulder, and she ran right into a long metal beam. Tripping over the beam that had hit her right in her shin, she landed hard on her left arm and knee. The metal was still hot from the blast, and pain echoed through her body. Grunting, she pushed herself up, and looked for cover. Tasting iron and rust, she spit out a mouthful of blood from biting the inside of her mouth in her fall. She didn't see any right away, and her hesitation proved to be her downfall. Heavy footsteps came from behind her, and a large metal hand gripped her torso. Thumping her fists into the metal one that held her, she kicked the fingers and wrist with both legs. The Decepticon chuckled, and the sound made Vi shiver. A familiar red Impala raced down the street towards her, but he was intercepted by another Decepticon. Watching Leadfoot go into his bot form, she yelled the Bot's name, but knew he couldn't help her now. Not while he was engaged in a fight. Instead of yelling again, she quieted down. She didn't want him to be injured because of her.

Post by Lilanna Odessa Kravosa on Oct 7, 2011 22:06:14 GMT -5
Lilanna had woke up well rested and ready to start the day this morning. It was thankfully a day off, and she had volunteered to go with the Autobots and other Bonded to Chicago to help clean up. She wasn't sure how well recieved they would be to see the Autobots in Chicago again, especially with those that felt the Autobots should just leave. Lil didn't quite get it; the Autobots had helped save the human race from being enslaved, yet there were still those that were hostile towards them. Sure, they had caused plenty of damage, but it wasn't their fault; the Decepticons were just as much to blame, perphas even more so; the Autobots didn't want to enslave the human race. Although the Autobots should really be out hunting down the last of the Decepticons, Optimus had eventually decided that helping to clean up would possibly help ease the human's minds. Lilanna didn't quite think that would help; some of the humans would be nervous around the Autobots, or perphas even angry they were back in Chicago. It wasn't like any of the Bonded could change Optimus' mind; not even Sam had been able to.
Lil had been relieved that her parents offered to come over and watch Aedan for the day, and as soon as they showed up, she had kissed her son on the forehead before heading out to go to the NEST base to meet up with the Bonded and Autobots. Once everyone was all gathered together, they had set off. There weren't too many bonded, but the bonded rode with their counterpart, so of course, Lil was with Swipe. The drive had taken a while, which was why they had set out so early in the morning. As soon as they reached Chicago, they had split off to help wherever they were needed. Lil had decided to help out at the few local stores around the area, helping clean up inside and sweep up debris. She ignored the whispers about the Autobots, managing to bite her tongue when some of the whispers were less than friendly. Lil was sure that they knew who she was, but she was glad none of them were brave enough to say anything to her face. She might have been in a good mood earlier, but if they wanted to get mouthy about the Autobots, that could change.
After a few hours of helping, Lilanna decided to head back to the Autobots to see how things were doing. There wasn't any mass chaos, so the Autobots were behaving themselves, as were the humans. Heading down the main street, Lil peered here and there at the streets she passed, seeing nothing of interest. The sound of explosions made Lil immediately stop, glancing around. Where had that come from? Lilanna looked ahead and her eyes widened at the cloud of smoke towards the center, where the Autobots were supposed to be. Had something happened? Jogging forwards, Lil almost didn't notice someone standing down a street to her left, not until an airplane passed overhead and another explosion rocked the ground. Glancing sideways, she blinked at the sight of the figure sitting on the ground. Turning towards them, her eyebrows furrowed slightly at the familiar face of Kasey, another bonded. Kasey was supposed to be in Europe, she thought. Striding towards her, smiling slightly. "Kasey? How'd you get here? Are you here to help clean up? Oh, Leadfoot is going to be so happy to see you." Lilanna reached out to grasp the brunette's hand and help her to her feet.
"The....the Autobots are still alive? Leadfoot is?" Kasey asked, and Lilanna nodded before glancing towards the sound of where the explosions had come from. "They're over there, I think. I wonder what happened. C'mon, you'll get to see everyone." Lil grabbed her arm to tug, but Kasey stood fast in place. "Lil...you need to run. Get to the Autobots, now." Lil frowned, puzzled by Kasey's behavior. Before she could say anything, a loud mechanical whirling behind her, followed by the ground shaking made Lil turn around. Her eyes widened at the sight of a Decepticon crouching just a few feet away. "I don't think you'll be running to anyone." The Decepticon snarled, chuckling as Kasey pushed Lil behind her. They both inched backwards slowly, keeping an eye on the Decepticon. Lil glanced behind the Decepticon to someone standing behind it, and she stared, trying to figure out who it was. He was a NEST soldier, but she couldn't place a name yet. He shouted and fired at the Decepticon, who had glanced back towards him.
As soon as the Decepticon focused on the soldier, Kasey and Lil ran. Reaching the end of the street, they both ran to the left, only to be cut off by an explosion. Lil fell as she tried to stop, before attempting to scramble to her feet. Something snagged her around her torso and she screamed as she was lifted off the ground and into the air. "Where do you think you're going?" The Decepticon holding her rumbled, chuckling at her as he pulled her to be eye level with him. "Let go, you stupid peice of scrap metal!" Lil kicked at his face, but she was too far away to catch him with her foot. The squeal of tires made Lil glance away from the robot and down towards the road. The familiar green and silver Chevy Impala made Lil almost want to call out towards the Wrecker, but he was cut off no more than he came into view by another Decepticon. The Decepticon holding her turned around and leaped forwards, immediately transforming. Lil squealed, jolted around before she found herself sitting inside the Decepticon's airplane form.
Lil glanced out the window, beating on it as she spotted several Autobots, including a flash of silver that had to be Swipe. "Swipe!" She yelped when the Decepticon suddenly veered to the right and deeper into the city. Lil squirmed around, noting two other Decepticons right behind them; it seemed they had passengers too. "You're gonna be sorry if you don't let us go. You are a bunch of idiots for taking us." She told the Decepticon, scrowling at his silence. Glancing back, she watched more smoke fill the air and the sight of several other Decepticons taking off in different directions. They were trying to throw the Decepticons off.Lil kept straining to see, but it wasn't long before the town center was out of sight and she was forced to see where they were going. It wasn't long before they seemed to reach their desination; a parking garage. Mechincal whirling around her alerted her to the fact that he was changing back to his bot form, and seconds later, she was falling through the air. She screamed, gasping when the robot snagged ahold of her at the last second. He clung to the side of the large parking garage before slipping inside and tossing her onto the ground.
Lil rolled several times before she managed to stop herself and glare at the Decepticon. He was flanked by three more, of which two tossed forward two blondes. Lil recongized one as Violetta and the other as Marlana. Eyes widening, Lil got to her feet and moved towards them, offering to help them up. The main Decepticon watched them, unblinking. Lil turned towards him and crossed her arms, "I hope this isn't your brillant plan. It seems that since Megatron is gone, you guys can't hold together a plan, much less think of one." The Decepticon snarled at her, "Silence, human, or I can cut your tongue out." He snapped at her, and Lil took a slight step back. She wouldn't put it past a Decepticon to attempt it. The other three Decepticons moved about to encircle the three women.

Post by Marlana Hailey Fletcher on Oct 8, 2011 1:12:04 GMT -5
Marlana had been headed to work this morning when she had been grabbed from behind by a man. The man had pressed a cloth to her mouth, and she had lost consciousness before she had even a chance to fight back. After that she had only stirred a few times over the next few hours. It appeared that she was flying, which made no sense to her, but she was much too dazed to make out anything else. She wasn't sure why anyone would want to kidnap her, unless it was over the whole Autobot thing. She was a known Autobot supporter, at least until their death. Still, she actively preached that they had been there to help. They had been guardians. A lot of people didn't like her for siding with the Autobots, but Marlana wasn't the type to worry about what someone else did or didn't like. If she heard someone speaking poorly of the Autobots, she was always quick to correct them. She hated how ungrateful everyone was. They didn't understand how much the Autobots had done for them. She hated it. The human race had almost been lost to the Decepticons after the Autobots had been killed. That right there should have given them the message. She supposed that some people were just dense, but whenever a dense person opened their mouth, she wanted to turn one of her cats loose on them, and by that she didn't mean a house cat. She had recently acquired a tiger that had been injured by a trap, and hadn't been able to be released back into the wild. The orange cat had to be fed in a cage, then turned out by an automatic gate once the enclosure was clear because it could become quite nasty whenever humans were near. That was the kitty she wanted to turn loose on the anti-Autobot groups. Still, Marlana knew that wasn't a very diplomatic solution. Instead she would debate with them until they gave up. She could be quite determined when she wanted, or even stubborn. The ferocity of which she defended the Autobots, even know that they were gone, had gotten her quite a few enemies. Marlana wasn't sorry. She only missed the Autobots, especially her Mirage. Loosing him had been devastating to her. She had no idea how the others were coping.
Finally beginning to come to, Marlana realized that she was flying, but this was no ordinary jet. Marlana was in the cockpit, and there was no pilot next to her. She knew that this was a Decepticon. The only question in her mind was what he wanted with her. She didn't have time to look around. The reached a parking garage, and the jet transformed, tossing her inside. Coming to a rolling stop, the blonde glanced around. She was surprised that she wasn't alone, but it was a pleasant surprised. She took Lil's hand as the blonde helped her up. She was still a little dazed, and things were fuzzy. Still, at least she was conscious now. Moving to stand on the other side of Lil from Vi, the blonde hissed quietly as the Decepticon threatened Lil. She wasn't sure why the Decepticons had them together. Maybe soon they would be adding others to their small group? Still, she wasn't sure why they were together again. They hadn't been since the Chicago takeover. She could hear Vi threatening the Decepticons, but she wasn't paying attention to the other blonde, or the Decepticons. She had turned to look over her shoulder, scanning the city behind them. Pillars of smoke billowed from the city. What did the Decepticons want this time? Shifting, Marlana turned back to look at the Decepticons, but her attention was drawn to a pillar on the other side of the garage. She was sure that she could make out a man, but he was gone before she could tell much about him. Frowning, Marlana decided that she had, had enough. "Listen here, Tin Man." She was almost growling. She caught sight of the man again, this time she could make out fatigues, and it looked like he was armed with an assault rifle. He seemed to be taking a place, and a movement behind him told her he wasn't alone. Wanting to buy them time, she continued. She just hoped that the soldiers had some brilliant plan. "You're going to let go of my friends and myself, because there's three of us, and only four of you. I don't know who you think you're dealing with, but we're Bot Lovers, and our boys didn't leave us defenseless. Fooling with us was a big mistake." The Decepticon chuckled, and leaned down to look her in her face. "All I see are three little humans. Where are your mighty Autobots now?" Marlana swallowed hard. The bot had hit a sore spot, but she was keeping him occupied. Suddenly the sound of engines vibrated through the building. Marlana was surprised by how loud the engines were, and how fast they were moving. What had the soldiers brought with them? She wasn't sure, but the Decepticons looked nervous, and Marlana stepped away from them and smiled.

Roadbuster wasn't a happy camper. He wasn't particularly enjoying "volunteer day"; the Autobot would rather be out hunting down Decepticons. It sounded much more fun than being stared at by a bunch of nosey humans who probably were attempting to plot all of their deaths right now. It was suprising that they hadn't been forced out of the United States because of the hostile residents, at least Roadbuster thought so. As far as he was concerned, besides the Bonded, humans were set out to get the Autobots the hell off Earth. They had tried several times, something that increasingly annoyed Roadbuster to no end. He was sure most of the others were fed up with being glared at, yelled at, and generally hated by the public. It came as no suprise that there was always something on the news about them or some debat going on about whether they were a danger to humans or not. Roadbuster would be more than happy to stay on base unless there were Decepticons to take out. He could deal with being around the soldiers and the Bonded; he just couldn't say the same for the rest of the human population.
Optimus had made it clear they were to all go to Chicago to help, and since Roadbuster trusted Optimus, he was glad to follow after him. Almost all the Autobots were here in Chicago, save for the Twins, who were back at base with the majority of the NEST soldiers. A good truck load of soldiers had followed after the Autobots to Chicago, although most of them Roadbuster didn't know well. Optimus had mentioned that a handful of them were just back from some missions or whichever. As long as they stayed out of his way and kept an eye on Violetta for him, Roadbuster would be fine. He could keep an eye on Violetta himself, but since he was helping, it seemed best to let someone else watch her. Since they were in the middle of Chicago and surrounded by Autobots, he felt she would be perfectly fine, at least for the most part. He was still a little uneasy, but surely the Decepticons weren't stupid enough to attack here with all the Autobots around. Then again, they were Decepticons. Roadbuster set to work on picking up large pieces of rubble, ignoring the several sets of eyes on him. Nosey humans.
The first explosion startled Roadbuster. The Wrecker twisted around, looking for Violetta almost instantly. A few of the bonded were gathered together, but none were his Violetta. Another explosion hit close and Roadbuster was on the move, changing to his car form and taking off towards a nearby street. He could hear several more explosions as he rounded the corner, and he sped straight ahead at the sight of a Decepticon up ahead. It had someone in it's grasp; a blonde. Focused on that, he almost didn't hit the brakes in time as another Decepticon leaped out infront of him. He started to slide sideways, and Roadbuster took it to his advantage, changing to his bot form and using his forward momentnum to tackle the Decepticon. He wrenched at the Decepticons head, attempting to rip it off to get rid of him. The Decepticon managed to grab hold of him and flung him off. Roadbuster slammed into a nearby building, but he was back up to his feet almost instantly. The squealing of tires got his attention first, and Roadbuster watched the sleek red form of Mirage come into view. The Autobot transformed to his bot form, wasting no time in taking the Decepticon by surpise.
Roadbuster wasn't too thrilled to give up the fight, but he did so, running off to where he had last seen the other Decepticon. They were gone though, and he looked around, growling to himself. Changing back to his car form, he sped back towards the town center, knowing Mirage was right behind him. Roadbuster stared hard the small group of Bonded, reving his engine when he realized Violetta still wasn't there. "Violetta and Lilanna are unaccounted for." The sound of Jolt only made the subtle sound of Roadbuster's engine raise louder. "Some went to the North and some went South. They are trying to throw us off." One of the soldier's nearby was speaking to Optimus, "We can split up, but it's no sure thing we're going in the right direction." Another explosion slammed into a building close by, followed by a jet soaring overhead. Roadbuster wanted nothing more than to bust their heads in for standing around. Ready to race off in a direction, the sound of one of the soldier's communicatiors going off stopped him.
The mention of the girls, of Violetta, had Roadbuster getting into action. He peeled out, fish tailing in place before shooting off down the nearby street, in the direction the soldier's had given. Mirage was right behind him, and he was sure some more Autobots were be too, as well as soldiers. Roadbuster was going to get there first and kick some ass. Weaving around the few cars still moving about the city, he ignored the horn honking in his direction. It wasn't long before he reached the parking garage and entered, speeding up the ramps. His observations were quick on each floor, continuing to race up the ramps. At the second to last floor, he turned into the garage instead of going up. Sliding around the corner like he had before, Roadbuster was in bot form in the blink of an eye, leaping the rest of the distance towards the group of Decepticons with two, no, three girls. Roadbuster caught the first Decepticon within his reach, forcing him to slam into another Decepticon next to him. He could hear Mirage transforming to his bot form and going after the other Decepticons. As Roadbuster rolled around with one of the Decepticons, he snarled, "Get the lassies out of here, now!" It was directed to the soldiers, but he didn't look to see if they obeyed him, grunting as one of the Decepticons flew right into him to tackle him off the other. They rolled several times before promptly reaching the edge of the concrete and falling right off the edge.

The last minute and a half had been a blur. Her and Lil had taken off away from Nicholas when he provided a distraction for the Decepticon, running as fast as they could down the street to get away. Kasey wasn't sure what they were going to do; where were the Autobots? Where was Leadfoot? She was anxious to see him, touch him, making sure he was real. Lilanna wouldn't lie to her, not about the Autobots being back. Lil had experienced the same pain that Kasey had, and there was no way the blonde would lie to her. If they could reach the Autobots, they would be safe. It was a relief to be within reach of something that could give you a safe shelter. Since the Autobots had left, Kasey hadn't felt safe at all, even when the Decepitcons were defeated in Chicago. It had been a miracle they had been defeated, but now Kasey understood why: the Autobots had obviously been there to help. Why hadn't the Bonded been told that they were still alive? The government had kept it from them? Then again, why hadn't the Autobots searched for their Bonded?
Thoughts were something Kasey shouldn't be focused on, not with what was going on. Kasey lead the way, turning to the left and onto another street. Kasey hoped Lil was still with her, because she didn't see the blonde next to her. Not quite six feet away from the previous street, the street before Kasey exploded. She didn't have time to react as the force of the blast blasted her backwards, slamming her onto the hot asphalt and pelleted with pieces of debris. Kasey groaned, reaching up to clap her hands over her ears at the loud ringing that viberated through her head. She could hear someone screaming, and Kasey rolled over, gasping softly as she tried to look for Lilanna. A rumbling voice made her look up, and she groaned again. Lil was caught in the grasp of a Decepticon. Kasey tried to yell at the Decepticon, but the sudden squealing of tires made her clamp her hands over her ears again, curling up in a ball. She managed to glance up in time to see the Decepticon transforming and flying off with Lil. Kasey didn't know how long she laid there on the ground, covered in debris.
"Kasey?" Opening her eyes, Kasey blinked several times, staring at a pair of boots and legs before she glanced towards the speaker's face, relaxing at the sight of a soldier. She recognized him as Jake Chambers, one of the NEST soldiers. "Can you move?" The Australian spoke again, and Kasey shrugged her shoulders slightly. She wasn't entirely sure. Her ears had a slight ringing, but she hadn't moved to be sure she wasn't hurt anywhere else. A gasp slipped from her as Jake scooped her up and stood. There were three soldiers with him, but none that she recongized. "Nasty cut on your head." He mumbled to her, turning and heading down the streets, toward the place Lil had mentioned earlier. "Lil...a Decepticon has her.." Kasey managed to mumble, and she heard Jake reply, "Don't worry. Some soldiers in the city have found them already. They have Violetta and Marlana too. Roadbuster tore out of here like...a bat out of hell?" He didn't quite seem sure what his wording, but continued seconds later, "Mirage followed him, and I'm sure Swipe did too. No good pissing off Autobots."
Kasey chuckled slightly and nodded, "Where's Leadfoot? I want to see him." She asked, taking in the destruction around her; both old and newly done. "I'm not sure where he is. He might have went with Roadbuster." Was Jake's response to her as they rounded around the street corner to the town center. Several soldiers were scattered about, and Kasey recongized the blue form of Jolt just in her vision. There was lots of rubble strewn about, and there was even a badly mangled Decepticon laying a few feet away. "Can we get a medic over here?" Jake called out, reaching an untouched bench and easing Kasey onto it so she was sitting up. Kasey only had to blink before a man was crouching infront of her, reaching up to check her head. Kasey let him, sighing as he questioned her about it. "An explosion. Blasted me off my feet. I don't think I hit my head, but my ears ring a little." She tried to shorten it as much as possible, grumbling when he fussed over her trying to push him away. "I swear you're my mum. Just a scratch."
